This is a shaving brush that I turned for my Father.  The handle is cocobolo.  It is finished with Renaissance Wax and the brush knot is attached with epoxy.  The brush is a luxurious silvertip badger hair because my Father deserves the best.

williamchall williamchall writes: Thanks all! I got the brush from http://www.thegoldennib.com. I didn't really have a plan. I took the shaving brush my wife gave me from The Art of Shaving and used it as inspiration. Now I need to make myself one. I used a forstner bit in a drill chuck on my lathe to create the hole for the knot.

The brush is beautiful and a heart-felt gift for your father. I too would be interested in not only the plan you used (or drew up) but also in the source for the badger bristles.
