Hey there Asa, just wanted to say thanks for the plans for this workbench.  It was super easy to build and fits perfectly in my limited space.  I built a cabinet for underneath out of 1/2" MDF to help hold some of my smaller power tools.  You can see in the last picture that my space isn't huge, but since I'm still fairly new into the whole woodworking thing, its more than ample.

I was able to build it from start to finish in a day, even with a few mistakes to take up some of my time.  All-in-all it was a great project and has already seen a few more projects built on it.  I look forward to having this bench for a while (until I have the time, space and money to build something bigger and better...)

Kevrempel writes: hey guys. the bench looks great. another idea for bench top is to get an old solid core door from a place like a windsor plywood and use that as the top. i got a super heavy duty one that was gonna be thrown away because someone was updating their doors in their vintage house. so now it is in my garage and next weekend it will become the top for my new workbench using this plan.

It looks great. I like how you lengthened the vise jaw. That will help you hold long boards on edge. Also, it's good to see that you took advantage of the storage space under the benchtop. Great work!
Keep woodworking. If you built this workbench in a day, you've got real talent.
