Matched drawer faces are a must. Removable scrolled dividers notched to sit proud of the scrolled case. The proud bottom is mitered return with sliding dovetail to cover endgrain. Sitting on top of highly figured flinch sawn table top with pegged breadboard ends and 2-way breadboards towards the middle of the top

Need more space? Pullout shelves, with carved pyrimids and padauk inlay. One place I did opt to use plywood withT&G edging so it won't start sticking in 60 years.

A little touch of my asian infuences in the breadboards.

Stopped classical chamfers on all the drawers. these have scooped backed due to the pitch of the back wall. thru \sliding dovetails, and tenons in casework. wood glides so it doesn't plop out once you open past the scooped backs.

One of pair of old-school desktop organziers. Part of a rear desk unit built in to a full floor matching home office in Brookline Ma. Cherry with padauk accents, hand-rubbed oil and wax finish. Ironically theres USB2 connections right next to it for a pda and i-phone.
Design or Plan used: My own design -
