Shop Specs

  • Location: Floyd, Virginia, U.S.A
  • Size: 2800sq. ft.
  • Type: Detached
  • Focus: Furniture
  • Heating/Cooling: Blue Ridge Mt.Breeze in summer outdoor woodstove in the winter.

I built this shop 2 years ago after working out of a 600 sqft shop. The high 12' ceilings and spacious work area make it a real treat to work in this shop.I had a hard time spending $60,000.00 on a new shop but I am able to get more done in a larger shop not having to move tools around to use them.I never thought I would need 2800 sq ft but after just a few years I wished I went for 4000 sqft.
