Carving Mallet from Scraps
comments (0) April 9th, 2010 in Reader's Gallery
I created this carving mallet from the scraps left over in the creation of the dust collection port for my router table project.
It is made from hard maple, weighs 1 pound 4.8 ounces. The handle was shaped with a 3" belt sander, mouse sander and rasp. It was a fun project for a new woodworker.
The posts on my blog which talk about the mallet are:

If you are interested to see how it progressed. The first post is the last one in the list, which in hind sight was probably a stupid way to list them.
