A Woodworker's New Year
comments (1) December 31st, 2008 in blogs
Sing this loudly at midnight, and then make sure your favorite woodworker (the one who works in your shop…) gets a kiss.
Should our auld chisels be kept sharp
and pare clean to the line?
Should our auld hand planes be kept sharp
for shavings true and fine?
For shavings true and fine, my friend
For shavings true and fine
We’ll stay at our old workbench yet
For shavings true and fine
My woodworking resolution for ‘09 is to build more and worry less. Post a comment and tell me yours.
Happy New Year everybody!

My resolution is to finish the Queen Anne entertainment center, maybe a French Polish for the top(another '09 resolution - learn how to do a French Polish).
Mebbe make a few shavins along the way.
Happy New Year,Bob
