It's not made for 1" blade. I've found that a 1/2" Timberwolf blade is more than enough to slice anything.

KRASSEL KRASSEL writes: I feel your pain about the size. I had 24x20 but lost 7x20 to a laundry/pantry. Unfortunatly I have no room to expand.(heavy sigh). Your layout has given me a couple ideas, up instead of out is the key. Like your shop a lot, good video, and believe me I think your shop is quite clean and organized, mine generally looks like a bomb went off in it. Thanks for sharing.

snichols snichols writes: Great shop tour. Any regrets with the Rikon bandsaw? I was thinking of the same one with an emphasis on resawing (same philosophy as you). Are you able to get a 1" blade in it? If not, does it really matter in your opinion? Thanks.

No I have no sponsors nor do I have any connection with Saw Stop other than I own one.
If it didn't have the safety feature It would still be one of the best saws on the market. I've used a lot of saw over the years including the much praised Unisaw and this is on par or better than that.
You do know that Saw Stop had nothing to do with that court case...right?
