This is my first attempt at box making. I based it on a design I found in Doug Stowe's excellent book 'Basic Box Making' and added some drawers to his basic design. It was quite a challenging, but enjoyable, project. The box structure, drawer sides, backs & bottoms are from cherry I had left over from another project and the lid, base, drawer fronts and little decorative touch at the front are from European Walnut. I finished with 2 coats of danish oil (as suggested by Doug).
