Gallery to showcase furniture by up and coming makers

If you'll be in or around Rockport, Maine this April or May, stop by the Messler Gallery at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship for their exhibition of furniture built by students at the school. The show runs from April 16 to May 27. There is an opening reception on April 16 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. The public is encouraged to attend the reception. I've been to an open reception for a furniture show before and I highly recommend attending this one if you can. The makers are often present and it's a great chance to speak with other people who appreciate finely made custom furniture.
If you can't make the show in person, you will be able to view the furniture included on the Center's website. (By the way, there always seem to be an exhibition going on and there are always photos of the included pieces at the website.)
