This is an glider and ottoman built for my friends who were expecting their first baby.   It is made from scraps acquired from previous woodworking jobs that I have had.

JJMR JJMR writes: I love these 2 pieces. My grandfather made approx. 20 gliders 40 years ago out of wood he found being thrown out at the local dump (all hard wood)... this was northern Quebec. Unfortunately, with 11 children 36 grand-children and over 60 great grand-children, I wasn't lucky enough to end up with one for myself. Would you share your plan? I could never decide to purchase one from a store.... Non ever felt like the ones he had made....
