Scrap Face Boxes
comments (1) March 10th, 2010 in Reader's Gallery
Small scraps of exotic hardwoods, quarter inch thick, are stacked and cut on the band saw. I usually cut four at a time. The shadows created in the negative space left by the cuts help outline and define the images. All scraps are leftovers from other projects. Boxes are 5"X5"X2" and also made from cutoffs from larger projects.
