Stellar

I glued up strips of American Sycamore, then crosscut kerfs in which I inserted contrasting strips of wood, repeating this process from varying angles. Bloodwood blocks were inserted randomly, and then plugs of several species were inserted. The surface was shaped with sanders to give it an organic feel, like a sandy beach.
It hangs on the wall of a friends home.
