Swiss Bell tower

I created this oak bell stand for a good friend who was given this Swiss bell by a long-lost relative. The thick leather belt was becoming misshapen, and he wanted to be able to display it and yet be able to remove it from the stand without undoing the cumbersome buckle. By using an interlocking joint, the top saddle can be lifted off the verticals, allowing the strap to be slipped off. Approx 25 inches tall, constructed of 5/8 oak.
