had a couple of pieces of mahogany
the smaller one was some left over red wood from a friends deck
the kids didnt think i could make a square one that would spin
had a couple of pieces of mahogany - CLICK TO ENLARGE

just a few scraps of wood + some small magnets = coooool aleast thats what the kids said. they like to see how long they can make them spin.

sdxbxtx sdxbxtx writes: hey krishart i found these magnets at a local hardware store but they can also be found at www.magnetsource.com . Then just a matter of making the spinnig part cutting the top then put one of the magnets in it gule it back. Then hold another magnet over top of it and figure out about how high the head needs to be.Its really simple after u make the firts one
