Scrap wood turned back into mosaic tree.....
comments (0) February 15th, 2010 in Reader's Gallery
This project was made entirely of recycled flooring and scrap material from my wood shop. There are roughly 2000 pieces of recycled wood in this project consisting of 13 species of both domestic and exotics. The inlay was made from a sketch of an apple tree from a local orchard and measures approximately 7' x 4'. Project was finished with Waterlox and Water-borne urethane.
