This is a quarter sawn oak bookcase I built for my wife to go with a desk I built for her in 2009. This is the bottom section of a 2 part piece. next comes the open shelf to go on top. I used a cherry gel stain and a handrubbed poly finish. I them waxed and buffed the final finish.
