The cases are nicely figured cherry plywood, and the face frames and moldings are solid cherry. To find out how to build one like it, go to FWW #166: http://www.taunton.com/finewoodworking/ProjectsAndDesign/ProjectsAndDesignPDF.aspx?id=2878
It was group effort. Our art director helped me design it, I built it based on the advice of the author, Tony O'Malley, and he also helped me install it. The finish is Waterlox. I made the pulls from walnut.
