Walnut suggestion box adapted from a magazine plan for a Greene & Greene style mail box. The article's author suggested mahogony, but I like the look of walnut and did not need the outdoor durability.
This is a 1st project that could be loosely defined as 'fine' woodworking. No nails, spray paint or construction lumber.
Of course, my wife says it's beautiful. Reviews from experienced, critical eyes expected and appreciated.
Lessons learned:
Work the wook with an eye for finish from the start and don't sccrimp on hardware.
