I had bought some rare earth magnets a while back.  I didn't have a project for them, but I read an article about rare earth magnets and I had to get some. They are really cool.  I decided to use them to make a rack to hold my Japanese hand saws and a few other things.  The 1st picture is before I stained it.  I have never stained anything, so it was scary.  The next to are after applying some wipe on stain.  I am pleased with how it turned out.

If you have been following my "Henry Wood Detective Agency", the latest post is up.  The last two days involve the making of this magnetic tool board.  The total number of parts in the series is up to 5.  It is mostly me being creative in my writing, so there is only about 30% about my adventures in woodworking, but if you are interested...here is today's post.
