3-way chess board

My lunatic brother decided to ask me to make him a 3-way chess board along with 3 sets of chess pieces. No easy task for someone with little to no carving skills or carving tools. The board is 3 pieces of baltic ply veneered on top with gaboon ebony and hard maple. The edge is bloodwood. Both the meeting faces and the bottoms of the boards are flocked to prevent scratching of the table surface as well as protect the faces of the boards when they are stored in teh bag.
The pieces are maple, aromatic cedar, and purpleheart with bloodwood tops. Pieces are also flocked on the bottom to prevent scratching and provide a smooth movement on the board. The boards hold together with 3 sets of rare earth magnets on each face mortised into the edges.
The box is lacewood with wormy maple drawers and back. The insides of the drawers are partitioned and flocked to store the pieces.
hardware for the box is from lee valley.
This was a fun but laborious project.
