The legs on this mahogany are turned 45 degrees, and are attached with a sliding dovetail.  The front and back are a single piece of wood cut and reassembled to make the grain continuous across the front and back.  The edge around the drawers is wenge inserted into grooves.  The finish is polyurethane sprayed over boiled linseed oil.  The jigs to build the 45 degree dovetailed joitns were designed and built from scratch.
