This is my first woodworking project.  It is a small pedestal table I made for my mother-in-law to display a bonsai tree.  Made from cherry, it stands 22" tall, and is 13 3/4"L X 11 3/4"W.  The legs and aprons are all 1 1/2" square and there are 16 mortise and tenon joints.  The finish is spray satin urethane.  I found the plans in a book I purchased and modified it by changing the wood species and shortening the table a few inches.  It was a fun piece to build.
