This is the third project that I have done.  It is a bent lamination of plywood which I then veneered with Rosewood (Cocobolo).  The finish is garnet shellac which has been rubbed out and then buffed. The finish is not perfect so I may do some more work on it. The idea for the table came from a counter that I saw in a home magazine which was granite on the side and then came up to meet the flat surface of the counter which was also granite.

It is a striking piece that will complement any modern interior. [The garnet shellac brings out the warmth and depth of color in the wood very well, but topcoats of lacquer over the shellac might add durability without detracting from the already beautiful finish. Just a thought.] Very well done!
