This is one of the caskets that I designed and build for use in Natural Green Burial. All the wood is locally grown FSC certified Ponderosa Pine. I use no metal fasteners, just rely on tight fitting joinery and eco-friendly glue. I avoid using a finish, so the end product is as environmentally friendly as it can be. These are pretty sturdy, I have carried over 525 pounds in them.
