Grandson's treasure Chest
comments (6) December 24th, 2009 in Reader's Gallery
This is a Treasure Chest for my Grandson Stuart. The lid is held in place by the hollow Chest in the centre, the lid swings open in four sections. Each lid section contains a piece of another chest that act as a knob for opening and closing. It has two drawers one in the front and one in back which are locked by a Chest attached to a short dowel that goes through the bottom of the upper section. There are two "secret" compartments behind the drawers that are accessed by pushing down on their covers which have pin hinges. it was made from miscellaneous pieces left over from other projects.
