Fern Stands
comments (0) December 24th, 2009 in Reader's GalleryThese Fern Stands were made as Christmas gifts for my two daughters-in-law. They are "special" as I used Black Walnut recycled from a 30-year old table I built that their husbands used when they were children.
The design was inspired by a 100+year old fern stand still in my wife's family.
As my wood turning skills are still limited, I used a Legacy Ornamental Mill (a router based, manual wood lathe with x, y, and z- capability) exclusively to make all parts of the fern stands
Design or Plan used: My own design - Bill Backen
