Leaf Rake

Made this rake for my daughter (almost 2). The tines are steam bent ash, the body cherry pinned to the maple handle with a black walnut dowel. Most of the wood was cut on her grandparents property. It also uses copper wire and an elkskin leather loop for hanging. It is a little less than 40 inches long and 15 inches wide. It was a fun project. Everyone tells me "it's just going to get beat up", but I don't think that is an excuse for poor craftsmanship.
