Chestnut one-off on Norm Abrams' Shaker Chest of Drawers

The chest is based on a Shaker plan by Norm Abrams that was originally on the cover of one of his books, but in white pine.  I built this out of American Chestnut (new growth) instead of pine and cut the carcass into eight drawers instead of his five.  Like the look of the wood so much we decided to put into a main hall vestibule and not tucked away in an upstairs bedroom.

But Your name. My wife's grandfather was Cowboy Pink Williams from Cado, Ok His mother was a Pinkney. I think the book was ?? Nueberry ??
