jewellery box

This curly maple jewellery box is a gift to my wife. Size: 8"x6"x2.5". The marquetry on the lid comes from Varley's painting Stormy Weather. There are two levels of trays inside, made from sycamore and covered with brown felt. The finish is danish oil.

I had recently completed a box for my grand daughter, but after seeing yours I didn't even bother to enter, even though one of my projects finished 2nd last month. Thanks for entering your work.

I really enjoy the subtlety in the design, and am going to steal the curved bottom that ends in the flat feet at the corners. You have certainly mastered a variety of techniques that I still struggle with. Congrats on a very nice result.
