Rocking Horse
comments (3) December 1st, 2009 in Reader's Gallery
A couple of years ago I became re-aquainted with wookworking. I bought a lathe to start making bowls. When my oldest daughter told me she was pregnant, I wanted to make something for her children to have that was made by their Grandpa, so I made a rocking horse. When my second daughter became pregnant, I made this rocking horse. I have two more rocking horses to make for my two youngest daughters.
This rocking horse is made with walnut, maple and padauk.
