Tiny Table, ready to be wrapped and shipped.
Drawer Detail.
Detail of Ipe drawer pull.
Detail of top of Post-Leg.  The hardest part of the whole piece was getting the rails to line up right at the corners of the legs.
Pre-glue up.  All the parts are pre-finished because of all the little steps in the rails and legs.  You can see a few of the mortises in this picture - all in, I (or at least the Domino) cut 140 of them for this table.  (Thank you, Carl von Festool!)

This small table is a companion piece to a larger sideboard (I actually built the table as a prototype for the sideboard.)  The legs, rails, and drawer fronts are solid teak, the panels are shop-sawn teak veneer over Baltic Birch ply, and the pulls are ipe.

Slip-Tenon, spline, and dovetail construction.

Finished with three coats of Liberon oil and two coats of paste wax.

Teak, Ipe, Alaskan Yellow Cedar (inside), English Sycamore (drawer sides), Port Orford Cedar (drawer bottoms)

aaron_k aaron_k writes: beautiful - so elegantly simple. those pulls are fantastic.

I also like the way the different surfaces are offset from each other - 1/16" makes the piece. without this detail the design would have been regular... you've made it so much better than that.
