Earring Jewelery Box
comments (0) November 27th, 2009 in Reader's Gallery
This all started with wood salvaged from crates used to import limestone tile from Mexico. I used it to make some picture frames and the left over pieces from rabbiting out the picture frames were inspriing so I glued them up into panels. These inspired me to make a box so using wood from the same crates I made this box to hang ear rings and necklaces for my wife. It doesn't have any metal in the box. only glue with hinges made from dowels. I used a wax finish so as not to change the natural color of the weathered wood.
