Continuing a tradition of turning ornaments for friends and family.
All of the material is leftover from other projects.
The finish is several coats of spray lacquer.
The one red figurine is Elmo for our Grandaughter.

I used a cross slide vise (Harbor Freight for about 60 bucks) to hold the small blocks on the drill press.
Then used a 2” Forstner bit to drill the holes.
It was a lot of fun doing them.
I also used up a lot of the small scraps of exotic woods to make the long icicles.
Each one was different in design according to my momentary whims.
