walnut and tiger maple coffee table and end tables

coffee table.  The top is book-matched tiger maple that was re-sawn and laminated to a sub-straight then framed with walnut.
drawers were cut out of the same board as the apron then glued back together to maintain the flow of the grain.
I am very proud of the way the tops come out

I designed these pieces as a set to start out my business. I displayed them at an art festival and got incredible feed back.  Made from walnut and tiger maple.

beale338 beale338 writes: Alex, I am working on a similar project (dining table) and am wondering what finish you used to keep the maple so white and still have a nice dark walnut? I am new to this sort of thing so please excuse my ignorance.
