I think Zany Wooden Toys That Whiz, Spin, Pop, and Fly: 28 Top-Secret Projects You Can Build from the Toy Inventor's Workshop by Bob Gilsdorf would make a great holiday gift! You could give it to a young or old woodworker - just someone who would enjoy making these fun toys and then want to play with them later. The book includes plans, drawings and photos to help you make such things as the “10 Cent Labyrinth Challenge”(send a dime through a pocket size maze); “U-Draw Instamatic Camera”; a “Ball-and-Socket Robot”; a number of different Gumball Machines, and lots more. There are a total of 28 fun projects included in the book.
