New Masters of the Wooden Box was published along with the exhibition, “Boxes and Their Makers”, at the Messler Gallery at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine (and traveling to other cities during 2010-2012). The book includes boxes made by 34 contemporary artists from around the world and provides a look into the artists’ backgrounds and shares info on their inspirations and techniques. The book is filled with great photos of the boxes in the show, as well as pieces from the artists’ portfolios.
