This is a piece I completed in my undergratuate years. I was trying to fuse classic furniture styles with classic automobile forms. It is constructed of solid poplar (including a coppered back), and mahogony accents, then hand shaped and carved (all beading hand carved), and finished with metallic auto paints and antique white.
