Pedestal

Conceived to be a Deco-style pedestal, I thought, "Why not add storage space" to make it even more useful. Book-matched quarter-sawn white oak veneer over MDF is a striking and period-correct design cue. The door is invisible save for the very tiny brass pull at its uppermost left corner. Finished in polyurethane and wax. It hold a ton of CDs and is the perfect base for a mini sound system.
