Grizzly Recalls Bandsaws
comments (7) September 30th, 2009 in blogs
In conjunction with the US Consumer Products Safety Commission, Grizzly Industrial is recalling 500, model G0640X 17-inch wood/metal cutting bandsaws because some were built without a grounding wire, creating a shock hazard. The saws were sold between February 2008 and July 2009 and cost about $1600.
Grizzly is sending repair kits directly to owners. The saws should not be used until the new parts are installed. For more information contact Grizzly at 800-523-4777 between 8 am and 8 pm EST Monday through Friday or visit the company's website at www.grizzly.com.
