Solid maple kitchen table. 30.5" x 42.5" x 60.5". The top is hard maple, the base is soft maple. Finished the piece with 5 coats of General finishes water based polycrylic. I found the finish to be quite forgiving and easy to sand out bumps. I built this for my wife on a 3 year old promise that got me the go ahead to buy my shop tools. Happy day.
