This is my first woodworking project. When I saw an excerpt from Doug Stowe's recent book, "Basic Box Making" on FW.com, I printed it off and brought it home to my husband & told him I wanted to make one. He is a guitar maker, so I had lots of wood to choose from and he was a good teacher. The box is mahogany w/ a cherry top and ebony keys.

I didn't know you have started woodworking. I hope you will continue your good work and share your projects. Thanks.
