American Gothic, Hammer and nails
comments (5) August 25th, 2009 in The GalleryThis is made with thousands of nails and tacks. It is my version of the art work, "American Gothic" with the farmer, his wife and pitch fork. The hammers are the male and female. The frame is made of solid mahogony. Not seen well in the photos is the variouse levels that the nails are hammered in making for a very nice tecture. Measures 20"x16"x3"
