Hi Everyone
Over the next several months you are welcome to follow along as I work on a few projects. What these projects will have in common is they all use live edges either as the main material or as an accent such as a door panel. First on the list will be a live edge Walnut stand for a plasma TV. Next will be a cabinet that will support a 34 gallon reef aquarium. Last will be a live edge coffee table in Cherry.
These projects will be mainly done with hand tools. I will post photos of each step as I go. I will even take a few photos at the mill that provides me with the beautiful slabs I work with. Progress will be slow to start as I have a few other projects I need to complete first. For now I will leave you with a couple of photos. First being the Walnut slab for the TV stand, next a couple book matched sets of spalted Maple. The spalted Maple will be used for the door panel of the aquarium stand, I need to make a final decision of what set I will use in the project. I work from either simple sketches or just an idea so there really is no plans I can provide for now. Once we get started I'll make a more formal sketch of where we will be headed on a particular project and post it.
I hope to make it to the mill in the next week or two so stay tuned while I select a slab for the Cherry coffee table.
That's all for now,

I tried to post updates awhile back but everytime I tried to post I was re-directed to log in. I would log in and get re-directed again after I tried to post my draft. Hopefully this will post.
