This small cabinet is my first veneered furniture (16'' deep x 17'' width x 36'' tall). Used as a mini bar, the hummingbird inlay (ipe, sycomore, bloodwood) is directly inspired by the Haïda culture of the canadian west coast.
The frame is made of sapele, and the background veneering of makore. The top is veneered of burr imbuya.
Finish with an oil varnish mix
Two trips in this part of my country gave me some inspiration to create this cabinet and have fun doing some wood carving.
