Hand chased threaded boxes

Photo: Photo by Scott Blackman

These boxes were inspired by the old Italian spice boxed.  Brazilian tulipwood and ebony boxes were turned and threaded by hand at 20 tpi.  Pieces are finished with Doctor's Woodshop high build friction polish.
