Spjeres were turned by eye from black walnut, cocobolo, Brazilian rosewood, Ambroyna burl, persimon, big leaf maple burl, Pacific yew, paduk and black cherry.  Platter is made from Ambrosia maple.  All items were finished with Doctor's Woodshop High build friction polish.
