Segmented Gentlemans Pen
comments (1) August 1st, 2009 in Reader's Gallery
This is a segmented pen I made from Holly, Bloodwood, and Ebony. I first made a lamination of the three woods. Then I drilled the holes for the tubes. After that I cut the individual pieces (1/4" thick) on the table saw. Then I individually glued each one one the pen tube staggering them with a 1/4" reference line. Then I turned it down and here is the result.
