Located south of the Chicago Loop... I share 1/3rd the top floor of an old Meat packing building. I fell in love with the 14 ft ceilings and two adjacent rooms. I make sure that my place is organized and beautiful, even if completely trashed from projects. I can't stop collecting woods from vacation trips and city streets. My shop is not geared to fine woodworking per se, but to my desires as a multi-media artisan working in wood, glass, metal, and illustration. One of my rooms I call the closet, full of anything that might be turned into a sculpture or useful in some way. I never regret saving.. only regret throwing out. The other room I keep dust free for drawing, painting, and finishing. Over all, I love my home away from home, and it inspires everyone who visits.
