Maple countertop

Butcherblock countertop 32 x 65x 1-3/4 soft maple and walnut
8 coats of wipe on poly..machine buffed
The diamonds were cut with a 3/8 mortice bit and plugged with walnut.

My son and daughter wanted a new countertop for their kitchen island. Materials I used were scraps of maple and walnut left over from projects. I finish coated with poly prmarily because of water rings and small children abuse.
