donkondra1 donkondra1 writes: The center support has a 3/4" x 3/4" dado cut down the middle of the back. After the support is shaped, it is cut apart and reassembled by screwing through a member made to fit in the dado groove. The shelves also have a notch to fit the member.

The support starts off as a 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 25" blank, it's cut at a 25 degree angle and tapers to 2 3/4". The top and bottom are also cut to ~ 15 degrees.

The shelves are 7/16" thick -

24" x 5 1/4" tapering to 4 3/4"
22 1/4" x 5" tapering to 4 /12"
20 1/2" x 4 3/4" tapering to 4 1/4"

The long ends are cut at 5 degrees, the narrow ends at 10 degrees.

The back has two keyhole slots to fit over two screws installed in the wall. I have no doubt you could load this up with books and it would be fine...

Cheers, Don

Thanks
